Inside the Design of Fancy Pork

People most often ask the following when visiting FPP: "What exactly the hell is this garbage? Are you some kind of freak?"

The next most frequently asked questions, however, center on the different aspects of Fancy Pork design: the logo, the look, and the general ideas behind the design. FPP has evolved several times over the last year to be the version 3.0 product that it is today, and I've kept the original Photoshop files from each major change with an eye to one day putting together a design retrospective.

This article traces the evolution of fancyporkproducts.com design from my earliest ideas all the way through to this version. I hope to provide some insight into my creative process, and I think it's actually kinda' interesting.
